Physical therapy - Specializing in the evaluation and treatment of problems of the bones and joints, and nerves and muscles. Physical therapists evaluate joint motion, flexibility, strength and endurance of the musculoskeletal system, postural deviation and fluency of movement relating to a patient’s functional ability. Treatment methods include exercise, stretches, massage, neuromuscular facilitation, electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy, cervical or pelvic traction, and a variety of therapeutic heat and cold treatments.
